MobPro wins AMMA Award 2019

MobPro wins the prestigious AMMA Award for Best Data Strategy. It is the first time that this award was presented by initiator MWG.

During the first edition of Dutch media festival allOut, the prestigious AMMA (Annual Masters of Media Awards) presentation was organised for the 18th time. This important trade award is presented once a year to media professionals and companies for exceptional performance in the previous year. For the first time, the initiator and trade association MWG settled on festival site Thuishaven.

AMMA Awards: new category for data

During the first edition of AllOut, the media festival in the Netherlands, the prestigious AMMA presentation also took place. This trade award is presented once a year to media professionals and companies for their exceptional performance in the previous year.

This year, initiator and trade association MWG introduced a new award, to be specific the AMMA for Best Data Strategy. MobPro was nominated for this prestigious award together with Greenhouse & Mindshare, Happy Idiots and Mediacom & Greenhouse. The new category received an explosive number of case submissions.

MobPro & Parkmobile win AMMA Best Data Strategy

MobPro and Parkmobile won the award with the data strategy that lowered the churn rate for the Parkmobile app.

We’ve worked intensively with Parkmobile for over seven years to be the most downloaded parking app in the Netherlands. However, downloads are only valuable from the moment users take parking actions; Parkmobile earns from transaction costs. That is why MobPro opted for marketing communication in 2018 aimed at influencing the customer churn: prevent existing users from removing the app and activate that same user for parking transactions.

A smart data strategy reduced customer churn by as much as 50%. However, there was a higher purpose. By applying the data according to different methods, we determined which incentive and which current churn management methods are most effective in reducing the churn of today’s consumer.
